When beige isn't boring.
I've always considered beige a bit of a 'blah' colour - sensible, boring and a bit mundane. This perception isn't helped by the fact that my grandparents wear beige slacks every single day (god love them).
Despite this, I've come to appreciate a good dose of beige, whether it be chunky knits, sheer cashmere tops or mixed with a print. In particular, I find it quite striking against blue, especially royal blue.
Find below my smart vs. casual take on this beige/blue combo.

Wish upon a (rose gold) star.
I am totally digging rose gold at the moment, and this Alexander Wang Emile tote and Michael Kors watch are on my (ever growing) wish list. The watch is going to happen. The bag? Could take some pretty pennies, but I need it! SO DIVINE!

Hot pink zebra.
Being forced to watch the cricket with my sport obsessed boyfriend. The cheese and wine makes it bearable (as does the fact I can 'watch' whilst browsing online!)
