I've always considered beige a bit of a 'blah' colour - sensible, boring and a bit mundane. This perception isn't helped by the fact that my grandparents wear beige slacks every single day (god love them).
Despite this, I've come to appreciate a good dose of beige, whether it be chunky knits, sheer cashmere tops or mixed with a print. In particular, I find it quite striking against blue, especially royal blue.
